In topography, the land is generally flat rising to moderate slope at its South Eastern boundary. The soil is fertile. A wide selection of mature and bearing fruit trees are in place, for example: mangoes, citrus, sapodillas, guavas, avocado pears, golden apples, sugar apples, plums and breadfruits. A smaller selection of flowering plants is several cocoa plants, spices, cloves and bananas.
On the estate are constructed:
External walls and foundations of what was an elegant house of colonial type architecture. Fountains and main structural walls are of stone and concrete construction, floors, non-load bearing walls and interior staircase are of timber construction. The house occupies an area of approx. 1,900 sq. ft. on the ground floor and 1,440 sq. ft. on the upper floor.
Boucan 1 (watchman's quarters) This is a colonial type structure of thick stone and concrete walls on concrete foundations. The floors are of timber and roof of timber supports. The structure of this building is in fair conditions. It covers an area of 1,608 sq. ft.
Boucan 2 This boucan is also of stone and concrete construction. The building appeared to be under-utilized for several years but the main structural elements appear to be sound. The building occupies an area of 2,100 sq. ft.
Drying roof This is a stone and concrete structure partially covered by a timber supported roof. Beams of concrete, bearing iron trails, protrude horizontally for the drying of cocoa. The covered are of this structure occupies 1,290 sq. ft.
